Message from the President: 
In the Fall of 2003 BetterYuma.org was formed by diverse group of business men and women, all of whom want to see the Yuma area continue to develop "smartly" and "fairly". Our County is blessed with many attractive attributes, and we are convinced that our population will continue to increase as people "discover" all that we have to offer.
As you browse through our website, you will get a sense for the many challenges and opportunities that BetterYuma.org can, and will have a positive impact on. Our strategy is to carefully study issues, and fairly consider all points of view. We will not be "radical", but we will make our point.

In its relatively short existence, we are confident that we have built bridges with the City of Yuma and Yuma County governing boards and staff. We are promoting a "proactive" rather than "reactive" relationship with them.
As our Mission Statement says, we believe that it is important for the Citizens of Yuma County to be accurately informed about the risks, costs and complexities facing new and existing businesses, and in particular, those faced by residential and commercial development. We also intend to shine light on the contributions made to our community's overall well-being by those business ventures and development.
